Suzanne & Luke | Elegant Pastel Tent Wedding

I can barely start to describe this sweetest of sweet wedding day. Suzanne and Luke are by far the most in-love couple I've ever met. It is abundantly evident that they cherish their love and are so grateful to have found one another. Ordinarily I am not an emotional person, but even my eyes well up when I look back through these memories. Their first look was especially tender. I loved so many of their meaningful details, starting with having their first look and reception on Suzanne's family land. Backyard receptions are often the perfect blend of elegance and intimate sentimentality. I loved that Luke wore his grandfather's rings, the old family bible used instead of a ring pillow, Luke's bow tie that was a nod to his family's Cattle business and so many other things. Suzanne's dad completed the little gazebo where they had their first look just in time for the wedding as well. It was the sweetest day you could imagine. I feel so honored to have been a part of it.

Family Session with J. Layne Photography

Photos are little moments, frozen in time forever. As a photographer, it's easy to let the documentation of our lives fall to the wayside because I'm constantly documenting for others. But you can't take back time. Life flies by so quickly and once the moments pass they are gone forever. Images are treasures. These are especially dear to my heart. I love these images so much because they are a true expression of us, who we are and how we love…well, except for the fact we don't wear fancy clothes like this everyday! Eleanora wasn't too happy about being outside in the cold, she spit up all over her outfit and my elf ears are poking out! But that's what makes them authentic. It's usually when things don't work out perfectly that the most perfect moments are made. I love them even more because of it. I will always remember this time when we first became a family of three. I know I'm going to blink my eyes and Elle will be all grown up. Every time I book a session for us I'm incredibly glad I did. Letting someone else capture our seasons of life is absolutely invaluable. Just like I'm still in love with our anniversary session with my friend Lauren a while back, I know I'll hold these dear to my heart for all our years to come. I'm so thankful for my friendship with Chelsi & Justin of J. Layne Photography and for their artistic gifts. I'm blessed to know such sweet and talented people in this industry. I'm so thankful they were able to squeeze us in during one of our quick trips visiting my family. Now on to the images! Prepare to have your heart melted.

Laura & Brandon | Intimate Nocatee Wedding

Laura & Brandon's beautiful September wedding was met with some dreary, dark weather, but that is not at all how I would describe their day. The whole day was full of warmth and a celebration of true love that shone bright. Laura could not have been a more stunning bride. After months and months of being on this journey with these two, seeing their day come together was sheer delight. They didn't plan the smallest affair, but all the meaningful details made it feel so intimate. I love that they chose to use family china, heirloom jewels and sweet tokens in memory of those who had passed on. The little ones in the bridal party stole my heart as well. I really couldn't get enough of Laura's adorable nieces and nephews! It was truly a perfect day.
