From Fragmented Pieces to a Single Story
MY STORY:
I see all learning as beautifully interconnected. Art, literature, science, and history aren't just boxes to be checked, but threads woven into a single story.
But for a long time, our homeschool didn’t feel that way. Many Sunday nights ended in tears as I tried to piece together a fragmented education for the week ahead. At first, I simply began scratching notes into our lessons—adding a book here, a science connection there, slowly pulling scattered resources into one place. But as I started connecting learning together, life became more peaceful. I stopped worrying about 'gaps' and started feeling confident as we experienced how everything connects.
When I couldn't find a curriculum that fit this new vision…
I BEGAN BUILDING IT.
“ To develop a complete mind: study the science of art; study the art of science. Learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.”
The Historical Spines:
History forms the backbone of our studies because it tells a story. And stories engage both the heart and the mind. I created four chronological “spines” of study:
World History,
American History,
European History I
European History II.
Throughout each spine, you’ll find:
Art, poetry, book lists, science projects writing prompts, assignments, activities, films, and field trip ideas.
Each lesson is intentionally rich, designed to fill your week with depth, beauty, and connection.
My goal is to provide more than just facts; I want to provide a stepping stone for your students to look deeper into everything. I hope to kindle the spark of curiosity that leads to a lifelong love of learning.
This, I believe, is true intelligence.
