I admire strong women, passionate leaders and go-getters who make things happen. There are countless I could name that inspire me. Their strength is beautiful. But there is also another side to womanhood that I greatly admire - gentleness. It is often overlooked as weakness, but I don't think so. There can be so much strength in gentleness. I think it can be one of the most mesmerizing qualities of womanhood. It is a mysterious and natural virtue that brings forth a certain je ne sais quoi. Whatever it is, Kaylie has it. Her beauty exudes from such a sweet and natural place. Her gentle soul is a priceless gem. It also doesn't hurt that she's effortlessly gorgeous. I am honored to call her friend.

About this time last year, my sweet friend Ashley and I took a trip to visit the Biltmore. It was a surprise for my birthday. (I know, I lucked out in the friend department!) I realized today that I never shared those images and I wanted to remedy that immediately! It was one of those weekends that you never forget. It was the perfect time of year with the perfect friend. Cheesy, I know...but it's true. I'm so glad we took a few images before our tour of the estate. I will treasure them forever. I wish I could have taken photos inside because it was all so mesmerizing. Thanks for the trip of a lifetime Ash!

I am head-over-heels in love with weddings. Even though I just went on maternity leave a week or two ago, I'm already having wedding withdraws. The whole day fills my soul up with a magical energy that completely consumes me. Even though our first baby is due any day now, I wanted to re-live Sarah Beth and Graeson's day today. I feel so fortunate to work with such beautiful and loving couples that come alive when they are together. This couple is classy, smart and not to mention absolutely gorgeous together. I'd been looking forward to this day ever since their perfectly elegant engagement session last fall. Here are a few of my favorite images from their sweet wedding day.

As I travel, I take note of all the romantic places I discover. I'm blessed to have one of them right in my backyard. (Give or take an hour!) The gulf coast of Florida's panhandle is home to the most gorgeous beaches. Jonathan and I went to the Caribbean islands on our honeymoon. We thought it was beautiful, but I think we've been a little spoiled by our gorgeous ocean views near home. I was so when Sarah Beth and Graeson decided they wanted their engagements at Rosemary Beach. Their family has a beach house nearby, so it was the perfect backdrop for their love! Sarah Beth and Graeson are like two peas in a pod. I don't think I could even imagine them apart! They are incredibly natural together, which only makes sense for a couple who has been in love a long time. I'm so excited to be a part of these precious highschool sweetheart's day this summer!
