I love this session for many reasons, but the main one is that it’s so sentimental. I had the joy of photographing Michelle’s bridal portraits here 3 years before, and it holds many special memories. It’s impossible not to love this picturesque place. It was an honor to capture the these three before they became a family of four!

It's hard to imagine a setting more perfect for this sweet, relaxed couple. We spent the final hour on the coast enjoying the warm light and beautiful views of Rosemary Beach. Dawn was an expert planner and somehow managed to compliment their surroundings perfectly with their breezy looks. These two are so natural together, like the ocean waves and the soft sand. I am looking forward to their 30a seaside wedding late this Summer!

These two are so dear to my heart. It's truly an honor to photograph people with a desire for simplicity, real moments and beauty without frill. Of course Rosemary Beach at sunset will always be my favorite as well. All the whites, creams, subtle blues and greenery is salve for the seaside-lovers soul. 

Matt & Alex have had quite the journey to get to their wedding day. After meeting in Chicago they had secret crushes on each other and friends for over a year. Not long after they made things official, Alex was transferred to New York but moved to Denver to be together. Since Alex's family lives in Dallas and Matt's in Denver, they decided to go for an intimate destination wedding with their closest friends and family. The 30a area has a special meaning to them since Alex's family lived there for a time as she grew up.

There is something so incredibly romantic about doing an engagement session the day before your wedding. I'm so glad I was able to sneak away to Alys Beach with Alex and Matt for a few moments before their rehearsal dinner. The days before a destination wedding is so full with friends and family coming in to celebrate, so it's nice to get away for some moments alone in the midst of festivities. It's easy to see the eager anticipation these two share about tying the knot! Thank you for allowing me to capture your love, you two!
