The Kindled Mind curriculum is designed primarily for elementary through middle school students (approximately ages 6–14). Because the curriculum that weaves together living books, history, science connections, art, and writing, it can easily be adapted for younger or older students within a family.
Each spine covers a 32 week (8 month) school year. The curriculum is designed as a history-centered spine that weaves together literature, science connections, art, and writing. Families may still choose to use their own math or language arts programs alongside it.
Each section includes a rich variety of learning experiences, including:
• Curated living book recommendations
• Weekly lesson structure
• Writing and notebooking prompts
• Science connections and activities
• Art and creative projects
• Curated films and educational links
• Field trip and exploration ideas
The goal is to help students see how ideas, discoveries, and culture connect across subjects.
The Kindled Mind curriculum is delivered as a digital download, allowing families to print pages as needed and use the material flexibly. Hyperlinks are also provided.
I print most everything through The Homeschool Printing Company. They do quality work for a lower price than Office Max.
Most activities use simple household supplies or library books. Living books are recommended, but many families find them easily through libraries or used book sources. Items needed are listed for each section.
The Kindled Mind is designed to provide clear structure without overwhelming the parent. Instead of scripted daily lessons, it offers guidance, curated resources, and thoughtful prompts that allow families to adapt learning to their own rhythm. All that is required of the parent is to look over the week and gather the needed materials and books.
